Armidale Future School

Armidale High School, Duval High School, and the wider Armidale community are working together to imagine and create a purpose-built public high school that will meet the educational needs of 21st century learners. The state-of-the-art facility will open in 2020-2021.

This website is managed jointly by Armidale High School and Duval High School to share and build an inspiring vision, hear and act on feedback, and involve the community in the creation of Armidale’s new public secondary high school.

Here you can find the most up to date information about the new school, answers to frequently asked questions, and provide feedback on what’s important to you. You can also sign up for our newsletter and register for focus group activities.

Together, we'll design the new school from the inside out, with learning and teaching as the drivers. It is a very exciting time to be in public education in Armidale.
